Richy Dawks Bus Ad

(Note: This is a variation on a poem actually written by the real Mr. Dawkins himself....yes, evidently, the real Dawkins writes poetry when he's feeling chipper. Visit his site to see the original. Ironically, this poetry does not need much alteration to sound like something the grinch would pen. The original writting is in green, which reminds me of the grinch. Enjoy.).

What is this that frighteneth us?
Can it be an atheist bus?
The children cry in blissful glee
"We believeth not in anything!"
Dawkins slithers through the calm
we need no permission from our moms
“No fairy tales”? The dreadful scene
No Santa Claus, none to be seen.
None can escape his opinioning
Instead we see them hurrying
To file thier silly little pleas
As Dawkins grins with ecstacy!
He keeps the brainwaves gently rising
snickering at the thought of prying
at people's minds, to agitate them
and with poetry, he's quite persuading.

I say to myself, in isolation
"oh vile Dawkins, you inspiration
I cherish how you do frustrate them
you prod, you slander, you complicate them"
Oh Dawkins, oh you rationalist
Your enlightenment will be the best,
The children shall be free of myth
and they'll all wear your backwards fish
No spirit left, no soul to save
for materialism, they shall slave
"Oh Dawkins, how much will it cost
to tell them how they're oh so lost"
You ask, but know I love to rant.
for this money I will grant
with my followers I'll build a fund
to spread delusion to everyone!
So now we need some good ideas
To feed the faith-heads’ darkest fears.
A slogan bright, for all of us –
we can't be wrong, we're atheistes!.
